Shake what? 🤔
Uh, everything? 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, pretty much! Shaking your body (gently - don't give yourself a concussion or anything like that) is actually good for your lymph system. The lymphatic system doesn't have any pumping mechanism of its own, and it relies on muscular movement to move its fluids around! So, seeing as most of us are ... uh, sadly deficient in the muscular movement department, it means that we need to do more to help our lymphatic system.
You can do a nice simple full-body shake by standing up, knees about shoulder width apart, soft bend in the knees, and just start bouncing very gently. Let your arms hang loose and jiggle your hands around. Just get all loosey goosey and shake for a little while.
Here is friendly lady named Karla demonstrating a traditional lymphatic shake, with an added ch-ch-ch-ch sound that you can make, followed by a pretty intense looking move with a HA! breath.
