Work in Progress - 4/11 - 4/15

So what sorts of things did I do to take care of myself over the last few days? Well, on Wednesday the 11th, I went to my therapist. Therapist! Indeed. Actually, it's fairly new for me. Knowing so many people who've had many negative experiences with "therapy," I was hesitant to give it a try. It's probably a common mistake that MANY N.E.T. chiropractors make. "What do I need therapy for? I have N.E.T.!" (This even though we "KNOW" that N.E.T. is NOT a therapy-substitute.) Anyway, to make a long story short, I'm learning about therapy from the client's perspective, and so far, it's ... probably a good thing. I'll keep you posted. On Thursday and Friday mornings, I worked out in Golden Gate Park for an hour (with the folks at Koi Fitness), and on Saturday morning I worked out with them at Baker Beach. Sunday is my day of (mostly?) rest. I read a bunch of Rob Brezsny's book, Pronoia, and took a "healing bath" with a powerful bath salt blend from The Sword & Rose (metaphysicial shop at 85 Carl St.). Did a little candle meditation, getting ready to go to D.C. in a few days, where I will get some awesome adjustments and N.E.T. from some fantastic colleagues. And I took my supplements and homeopathy. Does this information help anyone?? Just wondering.
